Mission Statement

The African-American Business Association's mission is to advocate and promote the development of African-American owned businesses.

Goals

Create a firm economic base that supports the self-determination and survival of the African-American community as to:

• Identify and create financial opportunities for the growth and stability of African-American owned businesses.
• Be a community voice that advocates for the success of African-American businesses.
• Be a conduit for the sharing of resources.
• Promote development and support of minority business enterprises within the domestic and international economies.

Strategies

• Encourage and generate greater access to market opportunities and capital.
• Provide training for entrepreneurial professional development.
• Develop coalitions that support our political endeavors to effectively achieve public recognition and influence.
